Admission Cost: At Knott's Berry Farm, the price for a regular single day ticket is $62. However there are a few ways to get a ticket for a cheaper price. One way is to purchase a ticket online. If you do this, it is only $42. There is also a special deal if you purchase a ticket online as well as three days in advance, your ticket will only cost $39. This is a great deal for the amazing fun and entertainment inside the park. There is also a single day junior and senior pass for kids in between the ages of 3-11 and seniors 62 years old and up. Knott's Berry Farm also provides customers with the opportunity to purchase season passes. These season passes are the same prices as a regular day ticket. For people who live near the park or anyone who will be going often, this is the best option because for the price of one ticket you are able to go as many times as you want throughout the year. There are also no restrictions on dates when you can or cannot go like some other amusement parks may have.
Rides: Knotts Berry Farm has some amazing rides. Some are thrilling and make you scream your head off and others are more mellow that you just simply enjoy. One of the most popular roller coasters that they have is called the Xcelerator. The Xcelerator is a thrilling roller coaster that goes from 0 mph to 82 mph in just 2.3 seconds and immediately leads into a 90 degree ascent up to a 205 feet peak then immediately turns right back down at another 90 degree angle. An example of a more mellow ride that you could go on is called the Pony Express. This ride is unique because the coaster is a row of horses and you sit on it like you would sit on a horse. Then it takes off into a gallop, zooming around the tracks. This ride was based off of the famous pony express mail service. Knott's Berry Farm has so many fun and exciting rides to go on that it is worth every penny that you pay.
Food: Knott's Berry Park is full of fun choices in dining. All of the restaurants are theme based on their location in the park. These themes include Camp Snoopy, Ghost Town, Boardwalk, and Fiesta Village. These fun places to eat provide entertainment in the forms of decorations as well as characters that you can take pictures with. Knott's is also one of the few parks that has a restaurant from a chain across America. If you are craving a burger and shake, head on over to Johnny Rockets. Knott's has the biggest variety of food out of many of the parks we have looked at. Knott's Berry Farm is famous for their jams and jellies as well. This is a must if you decide to attend this park. They are also known for their delicious cinnamon rolls that can be found at their western themed restaurant in Ghost Town. It is for these reasons that the food at Knott's Berry Farm earned a 6.38 on our scale.
Lines: Lines at Knott's Berry Farm aren't that long. An estimated average would be about 15 to 20 minutes. The longest you would be in line for is about 45 minutes. Unfortunately Knott’s Berry Farm doesn't have a fastpass system like other amusements parks, but when buying a ticket you can buy the vip tickets which move you up in lines. At the same time, lines move so fast that you don’t even notice the wait. For those hot days at Knott’s Berry Farm, they have installed misters in the lines to give you a more enjoyable experience while waiting for the rides.
Miscellaneous: Knott's Berry Farm has attractions that aren't rides as well. For example, there is a massive area of the park that is an enclosed ball arena. There are foam balls that can be shot out of cannons or used in friendly games of tag. This arena is especially popular with the younger children. At Knott's Berry Farm you can also find a place to pan for your very own gold! This activity is very fun and teaches children a lot about gold and the way it was acquired back in the day. You can also find bracelet and lanyard booths where you are taught how to make your own.
