Admission Cost: The entertainment you get at Lagoon is great for the price you pay. It is extremely cheaper than other major theme parks. The price for regular admission is $47.95+tax. For senior citizens (65 years and older), it is only $42.95+tax. The price for youth (under 48 inches in height) is a great deal at only $35.95+tax. Lagoon offers season passes as well which is a great price for the theme park enthusiasts that frequently attend. A season pass only costs between $96.95+tax $117.95+tax. Parking is another cost to take into consideration when planning a trip to Lagoon. Luckily the price to park is only $10 and $13 for oversized vehicles. For those Lagoon enthusiasts, they can expect to buy a season parking pass for only $55. Another benefit about Lagoon is that throughout the season they offer special deals for cheaper prices; one of which allows you to buy a ticket and then be able to “bounce back” the next day for half price.
Rides: Lagoon offers over 45 rides that are designed for everyone from little kids to adults. Some of the rides at Lagoon are unique and more popular than others. They range from exciting and thrilling roller coasters to more calm and laid back family rides. The Rocket is a favorite amongst theme park fans. The rocket has 14 seats that surround a 300 foot tower. It then takes you up to the top and drops you letting you free fall until your about 15 feet off the ground! This repeats 3-4 times! For a hot sunny day they have a ride that is a river raft which goes through caves, waterfalls and white water rapids for a nice cool down. For those who have always wanted to go in a loop on a roller coaster, this is the place that makes that available. This awesome ride has a double loop which stalls and makes you hang up side down on the top of both loops. As you can see, Lagoon offers a lot of fun rides for everyone. There is also a water park called Lagoon-A-Beach that includes a lazy river, slides, a water playground as well as swimming pools. To top all of this off, if you are willing to pay $15 for an extremely thrilling ride, The Sky Coaster is it. 1-3 riders are placed laying down in a safety harness and lifted up to 150 feet in the air. One of the riders then pulls a ripcord and they free fall for 70 feet which will definitely get your adrenaline pumping. After the free fall, the riders just swing back and forth for a few passes.
Food: There is a wide range of food available at Lagoon. Whether you want a full meal, dessert, snack or just a drink, it is offered here. Some specific examples of the food varieties are: Cheeseburgers, french fries, chicken strips, roast beef, beef and cheddar, chicken sandwiches, subway sandwiches, pizza, tacos, corn dogs and hot dogs and these are just the main meals. Some of the favorite delicious deserts, snacks and drinks are: cotton candy, caramel apples, popcorn, cinnamon rolls, churros, ice cream cones, dippin' dots, shaved ice, shakes, fudge and all sorts of drinks. Another one of the great unique rules about Lagoon is that they allow you to bring your own food and drinks into the park if you want. They have picnic spots set out for families
Lines: The lines at Lagoon aren't too bad. Compared to other major theme parks, the lines are much shorter. The busiest times are on weekends during the middle of the day. Longer lines can be expected on the more popular rides. But once again comparatively, the longest lines at Lagoon are not near as long as other bigger amusement parks. The lines are best in the morning when they first open up as well as on weekdays. A positive aspect is that most of the main rides entertain a lot of people at one time which helps the lines move quickly. Lagoon offers activities for all ages. The lines for most of the little kid rides are usually much shorter than the adult ones. There is always a lot going on throughout the park which provides entertainment to the guests while standing in the longer lines. Miscellaneous: Lagoon has some unique features about it as well. For instance, every year during Halloween time they do what is called Frightmares. They have haunted rides and mazes for Halloween enthusiasts that love a good scare. During these nights of Frightmares, there are a lot of events and shows that entertain the guests that are not on the rides. Another unique adrenaline pumping ride is one that they put you in a round ball launching it over 200 feet in the air experiencing forces similar to what astronauts feel as they are launched powerfully into the air. There is an enjoyable Pioneer Village as well that only requires you to walk around and enjoy the sites and feelings of being back in the Old Western Times.
